We’re so excited to bring you amazing coffee & great food here in our lovely home town of Filey but please just be patient with us. It may be busy, it’s a long way to the kitchen, & everything is cooked fresh to order so we’re working extra hard! We offer GF bread options to substitute menu items so dishes can be adapted as well as cakes & tray bakes too. based in Scarborough's indoor market - recommended by a group member August 2023 They have started to do a few gluten free cakes and the lady who runs it is very open to feedback and suggestions. I had a scone and pot of tea today (for £3.75) and it was lovely, slightly crumbly but not at all dry. She bakes them to order so it takes about 10 to 15 minutes.

In our Scarborough shop he have a range of local craft beers (including a number of Gluten Free beers), artisan gins, rums, whiskies, liqueurs and meads. We have tasters of many of the spirits and meads for you to try in the shop, at 79 Eastborough, Scarborough YO11 1NH. We are just off the seafront in South Bay, so why not pop in to see us next time you come to Scarborough.

Even brought us separate gf vinegar bottle & let me double check the ingredients on their tomato ketchup bottle as they could see I was a little nervous. Inside The Princess cafe, they have a gf menu. (Curry & rice, burger, lasagne.....) And this is from The Tunny Club website - The extensive menu includes freshly cooked delicious old favourites such as Fish and Chips, Steak Pie, Spam Fritters, jacket potatoes and much more! Cranberry Swamp is a cool stylish cafe located at 24 Skinner street, Whitby North Yorkshire. We specialise in gluten free food but do offer a choice of bread for those of you who love your toast ! Gluten free does not mean fun free ! if anything the flavours and textures of our meals are enhanced by the richer and more wholesome and varied ingredients used. We have a range of delicious and alternative breakfasts as an antidote to the "Full English" i.e. Avocado & Bacon on toast, beautiful porridge and gorgeous House Kedgeree and, the by now famous, Mex Eggs. They have varied hours for food so please check their website/FB page in advance but it's worth a visit - beautiful views over to Whitby too.

Rusty Shears has become a must visit venue when coming to Whitby. It boasts home made cakes and pastries, speciality teas, coffees and over 150 gins. We serve from breakfast through to late afternoon and at weekends, Rusty Shears hosts Bistro evenings where our chefs are given a free rein to produce an interesting but exciting menu for our guests. Rusty Shears is slightly off the beaten track being located in Silver Street which is small street behind Skinner Street. The interior is quirky with lots of Victoriana and interesting curios. During the summer months, we also have our courtyard which is set in a mediterranean style with tables and umbrellas under our own fig tree which provides fruit for our gin infusion. What a busy few weeks we have had! We have had buffets leaving the Bistro last week; we have more this week, and have been looking at expanding our range of foods. As we all know, allergens and special dietary requirements are a big part of our lives and people have been coming in who can’t have certain foods, so we have made sure that we are able to cater for their needs. We have extended our range to include a variety of vegan cakes, diabetic ice cream and dairy free ice cream. We also can also provide gluten free and vegan meals upon request.

And Now over a year later I bake all things cake, cupcakes, traybakes such as Brownie, Flapjack, Blondies and my popular Millionaires Shortbread all gluten free and super delicious. I feel really happy to provide gluten free options for people who also may have an intolerance or Coeliac Disease. Tearoom Opening July and August Closed Monday's Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 11am-4pm Saturday and Sundays 10-5pm Open all Bank Holiday Mondays 10-4pm Please remember you can only access the tearoom by foot, bike or horse. The nearest car park to us is Sneck Yate, which is at the top of a Boltby Bank. The 1 mile road from the car park is free from cars, flat but a little bumpy. ​It is suitable to all ages and prams. The tearoom serves seasonal food, as much meat from the farm as possible, and veggies from our poly tunnel. We use lots of local suppliers and bake all our own cakes onsite.
