What a busy few weeks we have had! We have had buffets leaving the Bistro last week; we have more this week, and have been looking at expanding our range of foods. As we all know, allergens and special dietary requirements are a big part of our lives and people have been coming in who can’t have certain foods, so we have made sure that we are able to cater for their needs. We have extended our range to include a variety of vegan cakes, diabetic ice cream and dairy free ice cream. We also can also provide gluten free and vegan meals upon request.

Hi I am Rebecca Owner of Yorkshire Girls Bakes! So if you've not already guessed it I am a Yorkshire girl living in Malton the food capital of North Yorkshire. I am married to my husband Rob and a Mum to twin girls. For the last 20 years I have worked for the NHS but after a period of illness and finding out that I had a severe gluten intolerance I started to experiment with gluten free baking. And Now over a year later I bake all things cake, cupcakes, traybakes such as Brownie, Flapjack, Blondies and my popular Millionaires Shortbread all gluten free and super delicious. I feel really happy to provide gluten free options for people who also may have an intolerance or Coeliac Disease. I supply a number of cafes and hope to supply more in the hope many others can enjoy my bakes. I look forward to baking you some delicious treats!
